Students were tasked with creating a design intervention in the underserved community of San Luis, CO that provided an enjoyable connection to nature while simultaneously “making room for water” in the event of a flood. The idea was to develop infrastructure first for sociocultural conditions, but to also account for climate adaptability and future scenarios of uncertainty.
